Sophie and Finn LOVE the bathtub! They love to rub the shampoo on each others head...they love it when they have bubbles galore! They especially love it when I put bubbles on top of their head..they think it is the funniest thing in the world!!

Finn is so silly when he eats.. he makes the funniest faces and laughs and laughs at himself!


Yes that is a pea in Sophie's ear...she thinks in hilarious to put food there and on top of her head!

Naughty Monkeys

I have a great area to coral my kids in when i need to get things done (mostly so they don't follow me around and undo everything I just did!!) One particular day I was going about my daily chores when I got the feeling something was wrong... then there was a erie quietness in the house, and I thought oh know what is going on, my kids are being way too quiet!! so I come flying into the living room this is what I find!!




I had left out my costco size tub of chocolate covered almonds from the night before, and these two little monkeys opened the lid somehow and were having so much fun sucking all the chocolate and spitting out the almonds (thank goodness!!!). There was chocolate everywhere!!!! Even though there was a giant mess to clean up I couldn't resist to grab my camera and snap a few quick shots!

Utah State Fair

They had the cutest baby goats there! They were so curious and fun...Sophie and Finn loved them! They would each put their hand out so the goat could sniff and lick it!!
You can't really see it but Sophie has the biggest grin on her face! She was in heaven being around all the animals!

Finn loved running around and looking everywhere.. He would stop and point at everything!



We had some friends that have horses that were competing in the fair that night so we stopped by to say Hi... They had some big horses! Finn was okay looking at the from a far... he would get all excited he loved them.... until we took him right up to them, then he got scared and tried to turn and get as far away from them as he could!



Sophie on the other hand... She wanted to get as close as possible! She was all about petting them touching their noses..I think a few times she got her whole tiny hand up one nostril of this poor horse! It was so funny to see the difference in Finn and Sophie when it came to the animals!

After Navajo tacos..yum! They had live entertainment Sophie and Finn loved playing on all the chairs and dancing to the blue grass music in the background!




We ended the night with the famous BIG YELLOW SLIDE!!! I have been coming to the fair since i can remember and this was one of the things that I always did as a kid when I came here... so we are keeping the tradition alive with Finn and Sophie! Audy took them both down they were so cute.. Finn wasn't sure what to think when he went down, but loved it after the fact.. he would point and get all excited!! Sophie loved it from start to finish... I think she is going to be our little dare devil!! All in all it was a fun time at the fair with my little family and my cute mom and dad!!

Hair cuts and birthdays

My mom gave Finn his first hair cut before I had his birthday pictures taken... He was so good the whole time loving all the attention being on him!

Sophie couldn't miss out on the action...even though she doesn't have much hair Mumsie still combed it and put some hairspray in it to make her pretty!

I can't believe that a whole year has past and that my babies are ONE! They are so precious and fun, they keep me on my toes and make my life so fulfilling! I am so grateful to have such sweet babies! I am excited about the next year to come to watch Sophie and Finn grow and learn even more! Happy birthday my darlings I love you!!!
