Audy surfing with the stand-up paddle board.

Finn was so excited when I wrapped this hand towel around him after his shower..He said "Mom I love this towel, I look just like Dad does!"

Van doing a little work with Daddy.

Sophie LOVED her goggles, she didn't ever want to take them off.  Not even to play her Ipad.

Those cheeks!

Finn surfing..he couldn't get enough!

Van was so good to just hang out in his little chair!

Miss Sophie surfing.

Running out to meet Grampy.

Flying Sophie!

Huge Spider!

Van's blessing day.  Hermosa beach, Costa Rica
February 2013

Van after is beautiful blessing given by his Dad.

Sandy bum!

This nasty scorpion came crawling up the counter after I turned on the oven.  Scared the crap out of me!!!  I told Audy to kill the sucker, instead he half hit it with his shoe and ran back under the oven.  I was nervous to stand by the oven for the rest of the trip!

Our Iguana friend.. he lived on our roof.

Love these two!

Surfing with his goggles on!

Surfer girl!

Finn just chilling with some local guy, checking out the surf!

Drinking pipa juice straight from the coconut!

My darling girl!

Best friends!  Oh I love them!!

Um I think I fed them too well, this one came and scratched at my door ready for dinner!

Dig a hole and drop a duce!

Sophie filled up her entire swimsuit with almond pods...we were laughing so hard she looked so funny!

Tummy time!

Van learned to roll over in Costa Rica!

Poor baby... he spit up then rolled over in it!

Van loved his little Tico car!

Sophie and Finn did too!

They used it the wheel around all of their animals!

The many faces of Van!

Snuggy time!

Oh he is the happiest boy!

Watching a movie in a box!

Audy had to leave and go back home, I wasn't ready to go back to the snow and cold so me and the kids stayed for an extra couple weeks... so we had some fun projects.. like making bird feeders!

I love these kids of mine!

But we really missed Audy!

Sand angels!

Audy came back down to help me home with the kids.  After 12 days without him we were so excited to see him. When he flew in he was just going to spend the night in San Jose near the airport and we were going to meet him there the next day.  But in true Audy form he got a taxi and came down to Jaco and totally surprised me and the kids!  We were on our way to the beach to watch the sunset, he barley caught us on the way out of the neighborhood.  So these pics are the last night in Costa with Audy!!

Finn and Sop didn't have their swimsuit on so Finn just opted for batman under roos!

Happy to see his baby boy!

Together again!

Love my little family!

That is mud on Van's head.

We had such a great time in Costa Rica this year, it was chalk full of fun things and great memories!
