Vacation Part 3

The last and final part of our vacation... New Orleans!  We visited with tons of family ate really yummy food and had a blast!

It was a long drive from Florida to Louisiana, Finn and Sophie we so good on the drive there. Just getting to Aunt Kathy's and Uncle Mike's house...so excited to see cousins Mamie.

Sophie thought that this goat was a Unicorn she was in HEAVEN and the poor goat was nice enough to let her sit there and have her picture taken!

The zoo was quite amazing we all had a wonderful time!

Finn Loves is Poppi, it was so fun to be with him this trip!

Miss Sophie got on the airplane and within the first 10 minutes was passed out sunglasses and all, she slept this way for the entire 2 and 1/2 hour trip to Denver!

What a great trip we had!

Vacation Part 2!

We left California and headed to Florida to spent some time at the beach and with Papi!  We flew into New Orleans and rented a car and drove into Fort Walton beach.  It was a little windy but we had so much fun playing in the sand and ocean!

     All ready to go down to the beach!

It was a little windy and cold the first day but Finn and Sophie didn't let that ruin their day!

The next day was much WARMER... they are such little beach babies they loved playing in the sand!

 We went to the Gulfarium and had a blast at the dolphin show!  Sophie and Finn didn't want to leave!

Soaking up our last day in Florida.  We had so much fun in the sun and sand!

Vacation Part 1

We were able to go on a little vacation with the kids... first stop DISNEYLAND!!!  Finn and Sophie had so much fun here!!  And since we have been home everyday without fail they each ask me if they can go back!

Update!!

Wow its been a while since I have posted last!  So here is a little update on what the Smoot's have been up too lately!   (Warning tons of pictures!)

       Going to the Dino museum with our cute cousin.

     Going skiing again!

      Opening up the cream of wheat and eating off the floor...yum.

Finding the highlighters in Daddy's office and going to town!  (Finn chose yellow so it doesn't show as much.)

Oh that's not all.. I went to rise the the water bowl while we were painting they both decided to take a turn painting their faces!

            Never a dull moment at our house!

And last but not least Mumsie's leprechaun party!  They had so much fun dressing up and being with their cousins!


I promise to be more diligent about updating my blog, so these posts aren't so long!  Finn and sophie are growing up so fast and we are having the time of our life with them!  I know I say this all the time but I am so grateful for these two little monkeys, they bring so much love and happiness into our home!  The are so full of life and keep me on my toes, but I love it all!!

The Deer

We took the kids skiing at Deer Valley for their first time!

Finn was so stoked to be skiing so Audy took him up the real lift and he skied all the way down the big hill!!

Finn was so upset when we told him we were going in for lunch..he instantly dropped to his knees and started crying "no mom more skiing, no mom more skiing!"  He is defiantly Audy's boy!

Tears stopped when the chili fries came out!

We had so much fun with these two monkeys!  We are so proud and excited that they both really like skiing!  Now we can ski as a little family!
