HaPpY BiRtHdAy!!

Happy Birthday to my two little munchkins!
I am posting this way late, but better late than never right?!

Sophie and Finn you were both so tiny when you were born but you have grown to be so big and so smart.  I am so incredibly blessed to have you in my life and that I get to be your Mama.

It's hard to believe this is what you looked like three years ago....

And now these are your cute little mugs! You are so sweet and so fun I love seeing you grow and develop into these beautiful little people!

And for the Birthday Bash...
We celebrated late... The day of their actually birthday we were moving!  SO we had their party a week late at Murray park with just the family.  It was perfect!

The Cakes..
Finn's request was a lighting McQueen cake.
Sophie had to have a Unicorn cake, so this is what we came I came up with... It was my first time using  fondant so I decided to make it myself on both cakes!  Both Finn and Sophie LOVED their cakes and kept thanking me all day for them! (so worth the effort!)

She really loved the unicorns!

.......................................
Time for presents!

Golf anyone?

Sophie was thrilled to have a new unicorn to ride!

Papa giving him tips!

 A new fishing pole!

Me and my cute cousin Tisha!  We are three months a part and our kids are two months apart.. it is so much fun to get together with her and let the kids play!

New cowgirl boots! and horse back riding lessons to go with them!! Thanks Grammy!:)

 Yee Haw!
Sophie and Mckinley (I think I have this same pic of me and Tisha at this age!)

It was a great day with family to celebrate Finn and Sophie. I am so thankful each and every day for these two amazing kids!

Denver

After all of the festivities up at the ranch we headed to Denver to see Audy's mom and help her paint her cabin.

The wagon was a highlight they loved to be pulled and to pull each other.

Going to the lake.

They loved throwing in everything they could get their hands on.

Finn thought he was on a spiderweb.

Finn with his ore ready to get on the boat!
Love that little smile!
Finn loved fishing!

Finn would run so fast....
Then we would just plop right down on the road..funny boy!
Her pretty daisy she picked on our walk.
Love these two!

It rained quite a bit while we were there, but we got to see a really pretty rainbow!  Sophie was ecstatic, she loves rainbows and was searching high and low for the unicorns that run along rainbows!

Even though it was rainy we could pass up the opportunity to roast marshmallows!

On the way to Denver the kids were awesome!  On the way home what should have taken us 8 hours took us 12!  Two 2 years, construction and potty training on a road trip was brutal! We had MANY potty breaks!  There was tons of road construction and we were stopped at one spot for like 15 mins.. sophie kept saying she need to poop and we didn't want to get out of line traffic was really backed up so we had to improvise..

She was a trooper and did her thing right there...
Traffic started moving right after, good job soph!
