1st trip to the ZOO

With new babies pretty much everything that you do is a First...It's almost like being a kid again, things that you would never do, or even think would be fun, all the sudden have a whole new meaning We went to the Zoo with Jenny, Steve and Ashley for the afternoon...it was fun, Sophie and Finn pretty slept which was also great...but we managed to get a few pics when they were awake....and yeah the Griffie did eat out of our hands...we choose not to read the signs :) Thanks Jenny it was a blast

Moms

Becoming a parent teaches you a lot...a lot about yourself, and a lot about those in your life. I have always loved my moms and my mother in law, but since being married idon't think that I ever really understood or appreciated what it is to be a mommy til we had out little guys. I can't believe how my wonderful wife has embraced becoming a mother and everything that goes along with it....Women are truly amazing...from the pregnancy process to the birth and then becoming a mother is all very neat for me to watch. The unconditional love that Ash has for out little guys at 3:00 am ( and 4,5,6,7,8 am) is usually beyond me. I thought that I was a pretty patient person, but I'm learning I have a long way to go...I think mothers are truly blessed with "special powers" or something... When I am alone with two babies for more then a few hours I feel totally overwhelmed, I don't know if I could do it day in and day out, but Ash does it with a smile on her face. So here's to Ash, moms, grandmas, and moms to be... the world wouldn't have much of a chance without a great MOM
I love ya

Sleepy Time

Lately Finn has been sleeping a lot more, and the last few nights he just falls asleep when we are bathing him...it is really cute. they are 3 months old tomorrow, but our Doc tells us that they really are like 5 weeks old, so they are just starting to interact a little but more...If you haven't seen them yet, then you need to come visit us, just as long as you are not sick!!!!

Big afternoon out

So we pretty much haven't gone anywhere (except grandparents homes) since our babies have been born. Today they are 11 whole weeks...I can't believe it. So since we are totally going stir crazy we thought the we would venture out to Target...It is always fun to put the babies in their Limo like stroller and cruise around. After that we went to see Jenny and Ashley over at Jill and Steve's new place (their house is awesome) So for us that was a very adventurous day, and we plan to start trying to get out to controlled environments more...We just don't want our biggest fear to come true and end up back in the hospital with RSV or anything like that. Sophie and Finn are getting big (to us) Sophie is probably around 9lbs and Finn close to 11 or 12 lbs...I thought I would throw in some Bath time pics of Sophie and Finn for fun :)

Last days of Fall

Here are a few random pics and us on our very first walk at Sugar house park....oddly enough we ran into Jamie and Larry (Ash's parents for those who don't know them) They rarely go to that particular park, and we just rarely go out. I was one of the last warm days of the year most likely. :))
